Inside Gem

My sisters and I were having the best conversation today about unresolved hurts and how they show up on the outside in the harshest and sharpest---sometimes uncomplimentary--ways. We agreed that unresolved issues are destructive to the person and those witnessing the presenting behavior. One powerful sister said: "Just because the issue is unresolved for them does not make it unresolved for you." Amen right! Yes, we have to be careful not to be caught up or vexed by someone else's unresolved issues. We should care and offer our help. We should encourage people to nurture the little girl inside, minister to the little girl inside---and nurture the gem inside. Happy inside means happy outside. #compassion #selfcare #sisterhood #valuable
