Curiosity creates energy. It makes me want to know more, understand more, listen more closely, and keep learning. But curiosity is more than wanting to know something. It is also being willing to think about what we hear, what we read, what we assume, and what we may not have considered.

Over the past year, I’ve noticed the word clarity appearing in places I wasn’t necessarily looking for it. I’ve heard it during segments on NPR, in television advertisements, in personal testimonies, in preaching, on social media, and even in food and beverage descriptions.
