A Season of Clarity:Why I'm blogging again

Something has been bubbling up in me for months, and I finally had to make room for it. Since January, my journals have been filled with one word over and over: Clarity. I didn’t plan it. I didn’t set out to create a “clarity” brand or a series. Yet everywhere I turned—my quiet time, my writing, my teaching—the same theme emerged. So, I'm Back Blogging Again!
In January I started jotting down early sketches of A Woman of Clarity. By February I felt an overwhelming drive to turn it into a full book. In April, the Clarity Series began to take shape. I wrote an eight-week Bible study resource called Let’s Be Clear for groups and individuals. Then in August, another study poured out of me: Seasons, Cycles, Patterns, Habits. Each piece felt like another mile marker in what has become a journey I didn’t orchestrate but clearly needed.
Every day since, I’ve sensed that clarity is not optional. It’s urgent. There is A LOT going on right? In our troubled, chaotic, distracted, noisy world, being able to see who you are, where you’re going, and what God is saying isn’t a luxury—it’s urgent and vital. Especially now.
This is me. This is what I do. This is what Conversations with Daisy Jones has always been about—real talk, honesty, faith, thought, learning, leadership, and life’s unexpected turns. Whether it’s on the radio, a podcast, or a page, my heartbeat has stayed the same: creating a space where we can slow down, get honest, and actually talk. We need to talk. Let’s talk.
That urgency is why I’m restarting this blog. Over the next few weeks I’ll be sharing pieces of what I’m learning in real time—about clarity, hidden seasons, leadership, and the courage it takes to keep moving forward. Think of this as a weekly coffee table where we can sort through life together and live more fully,
Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming:
Reflections from my new book A Woman of Clarity.
A strange and beautiful lesson from the okapi (yes, an animal) about hidden seasons.
Hard-won truths about leadership from military service to ministry.
Reflections from my first book Private Lessons, Private Battles: Noticing that God Notices You.
If clarity has been tugging at you too, I hope these posts will be a companion for your journey.
Clarity Check: Where has clarity been bubbling up in your life lately? In your work? Your relationships? Your faith?
Subscribe or check back each week—I’ll be posting every Sunday. Until next time! Keep having conversations!
